Plaqclnz

Without proper oral hygiene, dogs suffer the same dental issues as humans, including bad breath, plaque and tartar buildup and gum disease.

Allowing plaque to build up on your dog’s teeth is the first stop on the road to gum disease. The most noticeable sign is bad breath. If you notice your pets breath is foul, it’s time to visit the groomer. If you are leery of having your pet put to sleep to have his teeth cleaned by your veterinarian, not to mention the enormously high bill offered from your vet, this is a great option.

PlqclnzTartar Build Up

If plaque build up is left untreated, it hardens and becomes tartar-hard, yellow deposits along the gum line. Many dogs and cats experience significant tartar build up as early as age two. Over time, the build up creates “pockets” where the gum is forced away from the teeth, which can lead to gum disease.

Keeping your pets teeth healthy is an important part of caring for their overall health and can help add quality years to your pets life.

It’s up to you to be sure your pet is getting the care he needs to stay happy and healthy for many years to come. Proper care includes routine check ups and vaccinations, visits to the groomer and daily home oral care. It takes only a few moments to check and evaluate your pets oral health.

Here’s what to look for:

The PlqClnz procedure is quick, easy and effective. The spray and gel are taste free, so even finicky pets accept them easily.
Plaqclnz spray
SprayThe first step is to pre treat your pets mouth with the enzymatic spray.

IrrigatorAfter the spray sits on the teeth for a short period of time, the mouth is gently flushed with an oral irrigator to remove plaque and debris. If the dog will allow, the groomer may scale the teeth to help speed up the removal.

Pet GelThe post treatment gel is applied for continued cleansing. It is recommended to apply the gel treatment daily to continue the oral cleansing process. Most pets will accept the application directly from the bottle tip, while others are more comfortable if you use your finger or cotton swab to apply it.

Choose the method that is easiest for you and most comfortable for your pet. Before long, your pet will come to expect and welcome this daily interaction and extra attention.
